Lydia was born in the Loire Valley in the heart of France into a creative family of distinguished model and decor designer / builders. She later moved to Paris where she studied interior architecture and worked for 10 years on residential, commercial and cultural projects with several award-winning teams including Le Grand-Palais Museum Architectural Office, CHD Architects, Odile Saffroy Architect and others.
In 1997 she moved to San Francisco, California with her American husband for 4 years. Her expertise in interior architecture broadened with her new experience working with various architectural firms, learning the techniques of new American based constructions primarily on residential projects in the bay area. Besides her independent projects she worked with the award-winning firms H.Ridchardson, Lewis Buttler and the renowned international firm STUDIOS.
In 2001 Lydia moved back to Paris and utilized her US experience with various independent teams including one winning a governmental competition project with TMA Architect. Later she joined with the French architectural office of "Jeux de Plans" lead by Nicolas Roche for 3 years . They worked mostly on international commercial & high end mercantile projects based in Europe and the US. Some of these projects were based in Versailles, Barcelona, London, Detroit and New York City.
In 2005 Lydia and her family moved to Los Angeles where she worked with press featured architect Linda Brettler on various stylized residential projects. She then worked for high end residential architectural firm Kovac Architects on projects in and around Los Angeles utilizing the latest LEED materials and processes of green design.
In France as well as in the US Lydia often worked on freelance projects for private owners of residential and commercial properties. She learned from this wealth of experience to manage the complete architectural process... from the design phase to coordinating structural engineer documents to providing construction bids to obtaining various city permits to the final construction. In 2009 Lydia started her own business in Los Angeles and is currently working for owners of residential and commercial projects.
Lydias passion for architecture & design grows each day with the perpetual challenges of working with human nature in harmony with the environment. She puts all of her energy to become aware of the specific needs of each of her clients and enjoys bringing them new perspectives too... sharing with them her interests in new technologies, materials, green environmental concerns and styles of living that evolve everyday... always with respect for their thoughts and dreams.
